Kasseri

Kasseri (Greek κασέρι; Turkish kaşar) is a medium-hard yellow cheese made from sheep's or goat's milk, or a mixture, in Greece and Turkey.
The name "kasseri" is a protected designation of origin.
Kasseri is consumed as is, in sandwiches or as main constituent in kaseropita pie.
