Kasper Schmeichel (born November 5, 1986) is a Danish goalkeeper currently playing for Falkirk F.C. on a loan from Manchester City. He is the son of famous goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, who finished his career with Manchester City.

Schmeichel, while still contracted to Manchester City, is currently on loan to Scottish league side Falkirk. He has posted a number of impressive performances for the club, including a man of the match effort against Rangers on February 18 2007.

Kasper made his first team debut, at League 2 side Darlington, against Peterborough United at the 96.6 TFM arena on January 14, 2006, Darlington winning the game 2-1, with Kasper conceding a goal to Peterborough striker James Quinn.
