Kashmar

Kashmar (Persian:کاشمر) is a city located near the river Sish Taraz in the western part of the Khorassan province, in Iran. Until two centuries ago, this city was named Torshiz (Persian:ترشیز). This small city is a major producer of raisins and has about 40 types of grapes.

kashmar is located in Khorasan Razavi province in Northeast of Iran, this city is famous for its raisins and saffron.there are about 200000 people living in this city. there are two centers of higher education in this city, Payame Noor university ( a distant education system), and Azad university.
