Kasan Moor is a non-playable character in the video game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron.
Lieutenant Kasan Moor was one of the few females that Emperor Palpatine allowed to join the Galactic Empire, and was an expert fighter pilot, presumably the reason why she could join. Kasan Moor was a loyal soldier of the Empire until the death of her home planet Alderaan. It was at this time that she realized the Empire's cruelty and hypocrisy and presumably this is when she decided that she would defect. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Kasan, at this time the leader of the fearsome 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron, was assigned to protect the Governor of the planet Gerrard V. The disgruntled people there were attempting to defect to the Rebellion and the Govenor, no longer able to control the people, decided to flee. However, before he did this, he ordered his fleet of private yachts, crewed by his few remaining loyal members of the Gerrard V militia and Imperial soldiers assigned to him, to steal the valuables of Gerrard V's people before he left, believed to be partly out of spite for the disloyal populace and partly out of greed.
The Rebel Alliance sent the mighty Rogue Squadron, led by hero Luke Skywalker to help free the people of Gerrard V. Along with the them was a squad of Y-Wings piloted by commandos under the command of recently defected Crix Madine. The Y-Wings used ion cannons to disable the yachts, as destroying them would risk causing civilian casualties. Avoiding the AT-PTs, missile turrets, and Turbo Laser Turrets stationed there, the Rogues managed to disable four yachts before Kasan Moor and her TIEs showed up. After a vicious battle, all of the Governor's yachts were disabled, trapping the Governor, and the 128th was left in shambles. Crix Madine, in his Y-Wing, managed to capture Kasan by disabling her TIE Interceptor with his ship's ion cannon. Kasan surrendered and offered the chance to defect to the Rebel Alliance in exchange for information on secret Imperial bases. Kasan, because of her expert piloting skills, was placed in Rogue Squadron. Many of the Rogues remained untrusting of her, especially Squadron co-founder Wedge Antilles.
The Rogues' first mission with Kasan's information was the capture of the Imperial storehouses on the Jade Moon, followed by an attack on a hidden Imperial Construction Yard on Balmorra, where many of the Empire's AT-ATs and AT-STs were constructed. An attack upon an Imperial space port and monitoring station on Kile II resulted in Wedge's capture, where he was sent to Imperial spice mines on Kessel. Kasan aided Rogue Squadron in rescuing Wedge and several other Rebel prisoners in various Imperial prisons on Kessel, aided again by Crix Madine and his Commandos. She once told Luke that she found it strange being on the other side after taking Imperial orders for so long, but nevertheless adapted well to life in Rogue Squadron.
After this Kasan was part of Rogue Squadron's campaign against Imperial Moff Kohl Seerdon. It was after Seerdon's defeat on the planet Chandrila that Kasan tried to confront Seerdon, who taunted her about how she would lose against him and called her a coward, but Luke ordered her not to attack his shuttle, as their main priority at the time was to secure Chandrila. The campaign ended at Thyferra, where Seerdon was defeated in an Attack Shuttle vs. X-Wing dogfight with Skywalker after his forces tried to take the planet for its supply of bacta. Kasan was shot down during the battle, presumably by Seerdon, but survived the crash. She is believed to have been present at the Battle of Hoth in 3 A.B.Y. and again later at the Battle of Mon Calamari during the Cloned Emperor's assault with his World Devastators during 10 A.B.Y. Kasan Moor was also the first female member of Rogue Squadron.
