Hey, my friend's name is Kara! wow, she has her own sea! Awesome!

No. For a sea to be anyone's, it would need a possessive in the title. Thus, "Kara's Sea". Also, Kara is the name of many things and people beyond your friend. Oh and by the way, these talk pages are for idiotic comments like "Ohh a Sea named after my friend. Lol!" Honestly... ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. This is just speculation, but it might be related to the Turkic word "kara" (meaning black), it might be named by the Turkic peoples living nearby. There is already a Black Sea (Turkish: Karadeniz) to the north of Turkey. --deniz 20:21, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
