Karur District

Karur District is located along the Kaveri river in Tamil Nadu India. The main town in Karur District is the city of Karur. It had a population of 935,686 as of 2001. It is 33.27% urbanised as per Census 2001.
A very historical place in the world. As per the vedas the lord bramha created the human's first in this Karur known as Karuvur.
