Karunagappally is a town in Kollam district, Kerala, India and is situated 27 km north of Kollam. It is linked to Kollam by rail and road.

Karunagappally is most famous for Mata Amritanandamayi Math. It been recently heard for the attack of Tsunami. Many died in vellanathuruthu, azheekkal etc place near karunagapally. Karunagapally is famous for its mineral wealth iluminate, monoxite etc are mined.
