Karsten Baumann

Karsten Baumann (born October 14, 1969) is a German footballer.

He spent twelve years in the Bundesliga where he was mainly a player within the squad. Even today, when playing in the regional leagues, he turns out good performances every week. During his youth he played one match for the Under-21 German national football team, making the jump between the final youth level and top-level international football with ease.

In 2005 he moved to his current team, SG Wattenscheid 09, having previously played for TuS Eversten, VfB Oldenburg, 1. FC Köln (for whom he played in the UEFA Cup), Borussia Dortmund, Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, SCB Viktoria Köln and Wuppertaler SV.
