Karns Quality Foods is a privately owned supermarket chain in the Harrisburg metropolitan area of Pennsylvania. The company's corporate headquarters is in Mechanicsburg. Karns Quality Foods was founded in 1959 by David Karns and has been operated continuously by the Karns family since then. There are currently 8 stores in operation located in New Cumberland, Lower Paxton Township, Lemoyne, Hampden Township, Boiling Springs, New Bloomfield, Middletown, and Hershey. All stores offer a full-service meat department. Karns Quality Foods was ranked as the 35th largest privately held corporation in Central Pennsylvania by the Central Penn Business Journal. On September 11, 2006, Karns Quality Foods officially bought out the remaining Fox's Markets locations in Middletown and Hershey.
