Karma-Ann Swanapoel was the lead-singer of Henry Ate, she has consequently gone solo releasing her first album Karma in 1998. The South African born rock star shot to fame in the mid-1990's with hit songs like Just and Henry Ate

Before Karma's departure to the USA, South Florida, in 2003[1] Karma has attained huge success in South Africa. Her musical talent and sheer energy on the stage made her one of the guiding lights in the South African rock scene, she was praised for her ingenuity. Her song Just was counted as No. 1 in the 5FM 2001 music countdown and had countless hours of radio play - it is simply a song that forever echos in the memory of the time.[2]
