Karlheinz Pflipsen (b. October 31, 1970 in Mönchengladbach) is a retired German soccer player.

Pflipsen was a playmaker and played the first decade of his career at his home club Borussia Mönchengladbach alongside stars like Martin Dahlin and Stefan Effenberg, winning the German Cup in 1995.

Pflipsen in 1999-2000 season joined Panathinaikos and his big talent was shown just after he touched the ball in the first league matches.Unfortunately, in a Uefa Champions League match against Deportivo La Coruna, Pflipsen had a damaged cruciate ligament on his left foot (he had the same injury on his right) and he missed the chance to be a legend for Panathinaikos. After his injury, he returned to Germany for TSV 1860 Munich and Alemannia Aachen.

He has collected one cap for Germany in 13 September 1993 against USA [Germany won 4-3].
