Kargopolsky District (Russian: Каргопольский райо́н) is a district (raion) of Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia, located in the south-west of the oblast. Its administrative center is Kargopol. District's population: 21,514 (2002 Census); 24,589 (1989 Census).
