Karen Maguire (née Jackson) is a fictional character in the Channel 4 drama Shameless, played by Rebecca Atkinson. Karen is the daughter of Sheila Gallagher and her first husband, Eddie. She was Lip Gallagher's girlfriend in series 1. She seduced his father, Frank Gallagher and had a short affair with him through series 1, until Lip found out and beat Frank up. Lip and Karen are now no longer in a relationship. She then left to stay with her gran but she returned in Christmas 2004.
She now works in the local pub as a barmaid, and married the recently freed Jamie Maguire at the end of series 4.
Karen was always sexually promiscuous and was well-known for giving fellatio. She became considerably more mature in series 4.
