Karel Urbánek

Karel Urbánek is a former Bojkovice railway station manager who was a Secretary General of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia during the Velvet Revolution, between November and December 1989. He replaced his predecessor Milouš Jakeš after a swift election on November 24, 1989.
