Karel Schwarzenberg

Karel Schwarzenberg (born on December 10, 1937 in Prague, Czechoslovakia), full name Karl Johannes Nepomuk Josef Norbert Friedrich Antonius Wratislaw Mena von Schwarzenberg is a scion of the House of Schwarzenberg, former chancellor of Czech President Václav Havel and current senator and Minister of the Foreign Affairs.
He is the eldest son of Prince Karl VI of Schwarzenberg and Princess Antonie von Fürstenberg. He has Czech and Swiss citizenship.
His full title is His Serene Highness The Prince of Schwarzenberg, Count of Sulz, Princely Landgrave in Klettgau and Duke of Krummau.
Karel Schwarzenberg is longtime friend of Václav Havel, and member of Forum 2000. From 1984 to 1990 he was chairman of Helsinki Committee for Human Rights. Since January 9, 2007, he has been Minister of the Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. However, his naming preceded a small controversy, when Václav Klaus stated, that he has strong linkage to Austria, and is not able to defend national rights.
