Kareena Kareena was a Zee TV comedy serial that aired from September 1, 2004 to 17 October 2005. The comedy is about a young Punjabi girl called Kareena who continously tells lies that often get her into complex situations and tough circumstances where she needs to prove her "identity". She aims at shaping her own life by helping and in turn, getting help from her friends. Kareena is played by Kulraj Randhawa who helped boost the show's popularity and some sources say that she won't be making an appearance on TV again. [1]

In late 2006, Kareena Kareena offspun a new television show on Zee TV called Pandey aur Pandey that is a countdown show based as a form of a sitcom. It focuses on typical Indian husband-wife squabbles and it also features the character of P.K. Shrivastav who adds furthermore humour to the show. Although, it isn't as popular as Kareena Kareena, the producers believe that combination of sitcom and music has the potential to make the show just as entertaining as Kareena Kareena. [2]
