Kapustnik is a sort of party in Russian theatres. To have a kapustnik actors choose an evening when no performance is planned and show their own funny plays for each other. Although it’s a sort of corporate parties, where nobody from outer world is invited, theatrical fans like kapustniks and try to get there. Rarely kapustniks can be filmed, and films can be broadcasted.
