Kapsabet

Kapsabet is a town in the Rift Valley Province, Kenya. The town has an urban population of 17,918 (1999 census) [1]. Kapsabet is the capital of the Nandi District.

Many successful long distance runners have been born in or near Kapsabet, including Bernard Lagat, Peter Rono, and Wilfred Bungei.
