Kaplan Arena
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kaplan Arena is an 8,600-seat multi-purpose arena in Williamsburg, Virginia. The arena opened in 1971. It is home to the College of William and Mary Tribe basketball team.
The building is still known as William & Mary Hall (a name it has held since its completion in 1971), but the arena's name was granted in 2005 as part of a publicized funding effort by college president Gene Nichol. It hosted the then ECAC South, now Colonial Athletic Association men's basketball tournament in 1985.
