Kapal Bhati Pranayama

Kapal is a Sanskrit word that means forehead, while Bhati means lighting or glowing. Thus Kapalbhati is such a kind of Pranayama, practicing which the forehead begins to glow.

Destroying the cough that clogs the trachea Kapalbhati leads to the cure of asthma.

By practice of Kapalbhati, air cells in the lungs receive ample amount life giving oxygen, hence germs of diseases like tuberculosis cannot harm them.

Carbon dioxide, the gaseous waste of respiration process is exhaled out in large amount thus purifying the blood.

This process also activates the heart and enhance the capacity of the respiratory system, circulation system and digestive system.

Tips : heart and high BP patients, and weak people do it slowly.

Beginners should practice this pranayama slowly at first, allowing their bodies time to adapt to the practice. It is essentially a controlled hyperventilation, so the increased levels of oxygen in your bloodstream may make you feel lightheaded or anxious or even cause fainting, especially if you are new to the practice. If this happens, take a break and allow your breath to return to normal.

This pranayama should not be practiced by people who are pregnant or have high blood pressure.

People with hernias should proceed with caution and avoid strain. it's help u in various problem.
