My name is Rob Jones. I'm a 27 year old unix system administrator working for Motorola's configuration management group in Libertyville, Illinois. I was born in New York, grew up in North Carolina, lived briefly in Columbia, South Carolina, then for 5 years in Austin, Texas. My current home is Buffalo Grove, Illinois, but I dislike the suburbs, spend as much time in Chicago as possible, plan on moving there soon, and consider myself a Chicagoan.

I live with my girlfriend and our two cats.

I'm a long time Wikipedia user, but only recently decided to actively contribute to the community. I'm currently working on getting a feel for the system and finding my feet, making small contributions where I can. I have an interest in fixing NPOV issues, and wikifying articles.
