This could use some clearing up (I think) "There are several ways to create Kanohi Masks, but the only one known is to melt down Kanoka disks and fuse them together." But that is just me Obi Two Knobi 21:25, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Masks images

How you combiner these 6 Kanoi images in one? Here in wikipedia or use other software? Antidermis2319 17:36, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

I just used a simple paint program, copying the images from their original files and pasting them into a new one. Drakhan 18:09, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
P.S. You might want to start using the "Show preview" button at the bottom when doing things like adjusting picture sizes. That way, you can make all the adjustments you need and only save the changes once they're the way you want them.

[edit] new mask

Hey, people! the new model Vezon and Fennrak is on shelfs so now an image should be available real soon for the Ignika mask. tell me if anything comes up. --Calvinsupergenius 12:29, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

I know the mask is on his head, is it removeable? 66.63.86.156 17:25, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Collectibility - What counts?

I'm not convinced we need to count and document every alternate-colored Kanohi Mask in existence. I think we should keep it limited to the set of masks from the Kanohi Mask packs, the promotions related to this set, and first appearances of new masks. Why note Umbra's mask, or the ones of the Voya Nui Matoran? They're all repeats of the Toa Metru. The only repeated shapes I'd bother with are the Metru Nui Matoran ones (as the silver streaks are more notable than plain alternate colors) and Toa Norik's (as a counterpart to Iruini). But that's just my opinion; I'd like to hear you guys'. Drakhan 03:27, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, if the title's "collectibility," then we shouldn't even have new masks, since only the '01 ones were collectable. If we change the title, however, to "set appearances," or something like that, your idea would fit better. Repeat masks (Umbra, Doomatoran) might be mentioned as a subnote (Such and such masks were avaliable first with the Toa Metru, then later with the Doomatoran and Umbra). Same masks, new color (Mahri Nui Matoran) get mentioned. Oh, btw, Norik's is a new mask. It's as little bit different than Dume's.
Really? Outside of colour, it looks exactly the same to me; the real clincher is the part number, which is 47327 2-01 on both masks. Zachary Gibbons 20:11, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, they're different. I have both, and Norik's is longer than (stretches over the top of the head more than) Dume's. Also, Dume's is Mata style; Norik's is Metru style.
I also have both, and the mask shapes are identical. I think you're confusing their masks and their heads. Drakhan 03:10, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
