Kanupriya Agarwal

Kanupriya Agarwal, nicknamed Durga, was the first baby born by the process of in-vitro fertilization in India, and the second in the world, on October 3, 1978.

Originally from Calcutta, where she saw the light of day due to the efforts of Dr. Subhash Mukhopadhyay, she is now a corporate executive based in New Delhi. She currently uses the name Kanupriya Didwania.
