"Kansho / MERMAID" is Aya Ueto's fifth solo single and 2nd double a-side single. "Kansho / MERMAID" peaked at #9 selling 26,699 copies its first week. "Kansho" serves as theme song for the drama "Hitonatsu no papa e" (starring Aya herself) while "MERMAID" was used in Lotte's "Soh" ice cream commercial.
