Kanman Wong (born 1960) was the Conservative Party of Canada candidate for the electoral riding of Vancouver Kingsway for the 2006 Canadian federal election.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Wong immigrated to Canada with his family in 1979. He earned a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia and additionally earned a Diploma of Technology from British Columbia Institute of Technology. His current employment involves providing computer equipment to film production companies.
Wong has two sons, aged 13 and 16 as of 2006.
Wong came in third place in the January 23, 2006 election, behind the winner, Liberal incumbent and cabinet minister David Emerson, and New Democratic Party candidate Ian Waddell. This third-place finish for the Conservatives was particularly noteworthy and controversial because, two weeks later, Emerson crossed the floor to join Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservative cabinet.
On February 10, 2006, Wong claimed in an interview that he had been prepared to give up the Conservative nomination for Vancouver Kingsway if Emerson had chosen to run as a Conservative.
