Kan'en
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kan'en (寛延) was a Japanese era after Enkyō and before Hōreki and spanned from 1748 to 1751. The reigning emperor was Momozono.
[edit] Change of era
Due to the enthronement of Emperor Momozono, on the 12th day of the 7th month of Enkyō 5 (1748), the era was changed to Kan'en (寛延, "Prolonging Lenience"?)
