KANW-FM (89.1 MHz) is a radio station based in Albuquerque, NM. Launched in 1951, it is the oldest FM radio station in New Mexico. KANW is a public radio station run by the Albuquerque Public Schools. It is used for educational purposes at times but mostly has a music format featuring New Mexico based spanish music artists. KANW is also broadcast on KNLK-FM 91.9 in Santa Rosa, NM and on translator K240BL 95.9 FM in Albuquerque.
