[edit] Image:Kammerlader 1.jpg

The copyright issules around the picture Image:Kammerlader 1.jpg seem dubious to me. I reolise that WegianWarrior took the picture, but the Norwegian Defence Museum created the orriginal display so I would be suprised if they don't retain copyright on any pistures of their displays. I could be wrong. --JK the unwise 14:31, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

As discussed in the last peer review I put the atricle thru:
Those photos I've photographed is hanging in the Armed Forces Museum in oslo, Norway, and as such is a work of the Norwegian Goverment (represented by the armed forces in this cause). It's generaly held that such works are free to be used for educational purposes, as born out in the Norwegian copyright law, sections 13 (personal use) and section 18 (Collective Works for Use in Education, etc). I can certainly testify that the photos in question has been on display for a lot longer than the five years required in the law =).
So, AFAICT, a photography of the photographs is free of any copyright issues for educational purposes, and since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and an encyclopedia is educational, everything is a-ok. WegianWarrior 18:07, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
