Kamil Kosowski, (born August 30, 1977 in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski), is a Polish footballer playing for A.C. ChievoVerona and the Poland national football team.
Kosowski gained renown in Poland after his performances for Wisła Kraków, in the 2002-03 UEFA Cup.
His career waned after moving in 2004 to Kaiserslautern in Germany, where Kosowski refused to learn the German language and failed to acclimatize. Kamil had a brief resurgence with a loan to Southampton where he played the 2005-06 season on a year-long loan and was recalled to the Polish national team. Kosowski has appeared 46 times for Poland, scoring four goals.
He was selected to the 23-men national squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals held in Germany.
Kosowski now plays at A.C. ChievoVerona, but technically he is still a Wisła Kraków player out on loan. This is due to an unusual 4 year loan deal between Wisła and Kaiserslautern.
Panathinaikos FC has reputedly[citation needed] tried to buy Kosowski.
