Kamieniec

Kamieniec is a common Slavic toponym, usually denoting a place founded on a rocky mountain or stony embankment of a river or stream. It is a part of or entire name of several dozen places, mostly in Central Europe. Among places named Kamieniec are:
- Kamieniec Litewski, modern town of Kamianiec in Belarus
- Kamieniec Podolski, a Polish fortress in Podolia, in what is now Ukrainian town of Kamianets-Podilskyi
- Kamieniec Mazowiecki, a village (formerly a town) in Mazovia, near the town of Gostynin
- Kamieniec Ząbkowicki, a town in Lower Silesia, also known by its Germanized name of Camentz
