Kami Asgar is an Iranian-American Supervising Sound Editor.

For his work on Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto, Asgar has been nominated for 79th Academy Award (OSCAR) for best sound editing along with colleague Sean McCormack.[1] The film's script was written by another Iranian Farhad Safinia in collaboration with Mel Gibson.

In his 2007 interview with Jamejam daily, he insisted on his Iranian identity proudly.[2]
