Kamen Rider Leangle (仮面ライダーレンゲル Kamen Raidā Rengeru?) is the fourth and final Rider to appear in the Kamen Rider Blade TV series. The Leangle system was developed through tricks and manipulation by Isaka, the Peacock Undead (otherwise known as the Category Jack of Diamonds). In his Ace form, Leangle is the strongest rider in the series.Although first afraid of the dark when fighing the mole undead,Mutsuki went over his fear when he saw the smiles on the peoples' face he rescued.

Kamen Rider Leangle is Mutsuki Kamijō (上城睦月 Kamijō Mutsuki?), a troubled teenage highschool boy who was selected to become Leangle by the evil will of the Spider Undead (Category Ace of Clubs). He is played by Takahiro Hōjō (北条隆博 Hōjō Takahiro?).

Mutsuki's high-class Undead seem to be the kindest of all the high-class Royals. His Category King is a pacifist, his Category Queen has strong sense of honor and loyalty, and his Category Jack is really laid back, and sometimes lazy, only fighting to defend himself. All of them tend not to fight, unless it was necessary. And with the help of his Category King and Queen, only then he is able to suppress the power of the Spider Undead and properly seal him.

Some look at Mutsuki's transformation into the Tarantula Undead's form as his King form. Unlike Blade and Garren, he gets no Jack form, but unseals him to aid him in battle against the Keroberos Undead.

Mutsuki's character was considered the youngest Kamen Rider in the whole franchise at age 17 until Akira from Kamen Rider Hibiki, character's age 14, became an Oni, which is also considered a Rider.

[edit] Transforming

For Mutsuki to change into Leangle, he has to insert the sealed Category Ace of Clubs (Change Spider) card into his Leangle Buckle and position his buckle in front of his waist. The belt would then expand automatically around his waist. Mutsuki makes a motion with his right hand across his face and says "Henshin!" (変身?) and opens a portion of his buckle. The buckle would announce "Open Up!" at this point. This would also cause a violet projection with a spider image to come out before him. Unlike Blade and Garren's method of transformation (running into their projections), Mutsuki's projection comes to him. This will complete the transformation into Leangle.

  • The Ace form is Leangle's only form. It is achieved by using the Category Ace of Clubs (Change Spider) card on Mutsuki's Leangle Buckle prior to transformation.

[edit] Evolution Tarantula Form

  • This form revealed itself after Hikaru Jō/Tiger Undead had herself intentionally sealed. With the Rouse Absorber from Garren, he attempted to transform into K-Form to challenge Kenzaki. However, it resulted in the Spider Undead being forced out of Mutsuki by Jō and Shima. Mutsuki, though fighting without a Change Ace, fought the Spider Undead. During his fight, he began transforming into Shima's Tarantula Undead form fighting the Spider Undead. The Spider Undead was finally defeated when Kenzaki gave Mutsuki his King Rouser to use on the Spider Undead. As a result, Mutsuki sealed the Spider Undead once more, but this time in a proper fashion. The Spider Undead itself was constrained, which resulted in Mutsuki gaining a new Category Ace, one flooded with light that destroyed the darkness, and Mutsuki's nightmare ended.

  • LEANGLE BUCKLE
    • The Leangle Buckle is the buckle initially used to transform Mutsuki into Leangle. There is a compartment within the buckle that stores sealed Rouze Cards (sealed Undead). It also stores Proper Blanks.
  • LEANGLE ROUZER
    • The Leangle Rouzer is used as an extendable staff weapon. It has 6000 AP (attack points) available for Leangle to rouse cards on the opposite end of the staff in order to activate attacks and/or abilities.

    • This card increases the power of a screw punch.
    • When rouzed, the rouzer announces "Screw".
    • Uses 600 AP.
  • Category 4 of Clubs: "Rush Rhinoceros"
    • This card increases the power of a tackle attack with the Rouzer.
    • When rouzed, the rouzer announces "Rush".

  • Category 5 of Clubs: "Bite Cobra"
    • This card increases the power of a scissors kick.
    • When rouzed, the rouzer announces "Bite".
    • Uses 1200 AP.
  • Category 6 of Clubs: "Blizzard Polar"
    • This card adds the ice element to an attack.
    • When rouzed, the rouzer announces "Blizzard".
    • Uses 1200 AP.
  • Category 7 of Clubs: "Gel Jellyfish"
    • This card's ability was not shown in the series; but according to magazine descriptions, it liquifies Leangle's body causing any attack to go through him.
    • Uses 1400 AP.
  • Category 8 of Clubs: "Poison Scorpion"
    • This card adds the poison ability to the Rouzer.
    • When rouzed, the rouzer announces "Poison".
    • Uses 1800 AP.
  • Category 9 of Clubs: "Smog Squid"
    • This card adds the smog/smoke ability to the Rouzer.
    • When rouzed, the rouzer announces "Smog".
    • Uses 2000 AP.
  • Category 10 of Clubs: "Remote Tapir"
    • This card unseals the Undead from their cards and controls them.
    • When rouzed, the rouzer announces "Remote".
    • Uses 2200 AP.
  • Category Jack of Clubs: "Fusion Elephant" (Daichi)
    • This card can recharge the Rouzer with AP.
    • Adds an additional 2800 AP.
  • Category Queen of Clubs: "Absorb Tiger" (Jō)
    • This card can recharge the Rouzer with AP.

    • Interestingly enough, when he used Garren's Rouse Absorber; he temporarily turned into the Tarantula Undead, some fans teased that it was Leangle's K-Form.

  • BLIZZARD CRUSH
    • This is Leangle's Rider Kick where he leaps in the air and releases a blizzard mist which freezes the enemy, followed by a scissor kick.
    • Bite Cobra + Blizzard Polar
    • Uses 2400 AP.
  • BLIZZARD GALE
    • Leangle throws a palm strike which unleashes a flurry of ice and freezes the enemy.
    • Blizzard Polar + Screw Mole
    • Uses 1800 AP.
  • BLIZZARD VENOM
    • Leangle leaps into the air and strike with his rouser which is tipped with ice and poison; when the attack connects, it injects icy poison into the enemy which weakens them; finally, they're toss around with the Rouser.
    • Rush Rhinoceros + Blizzard Polar + Poison Scorpion
    • Uses 3800 AP.

The Green Clover is a motorbike developed by Isaka that is specially designed for Leangle. The Rouze Cards can be used with the Green Clover to activate certain abilities.
