[edit] Ryotaro Nogami
[edit] Personality
Ryotaro Nogami (野上良太郎 Nogami Ryōtarō?) is a young man with a lot of bad luck. When he first appeared, he managed to lodge himself in a tall tree while on his bike after losing control and going up a fallen sign. He has even placed a name tag in his wallet so it can be returned to him when it is stolen. Despite his hardships, Ryotaro will help anyone in need if he has the ability to do so. After being possessed by Momotaros, an Imagin, it was discovered that he is a Singularity Point: an individual with the ability to resist the control of an Imagin. Due to this unique attribute, he was given the power to become Den-O, a Kamen Rider who protects the time line from the actions of Imagin. As Ryotaro continues on his mission, he meets more Imagin, each giving him a unique personality for the duration of their possession. Each of his personality changes affect a strand of his hair, changing its color to match the Imagin. This is a trait that is unique to Singularity Points.
When possessed by Momotaros, Ryotaro has the practice of taking off his sweater and muffler, adopting a thug-like look. His hair spikes up slightly and he gains more muscular definition and the physical strength to go with it. He takes on an extremely rash and ignorant personality, exactly like Momotaros.
When possessed by Urataros, Ryotaro assumes the mannerisms of a teen idol casanova with the right words to woo women and convince almost anybody. His attire is composed of a sportcoat with glasses, a blue muffler, and calm hair. He takes on an very professional and crafty personality, exactly like Urataros.
When possessed by Kintaros, Ryotaro assumes the mannerisms of a martial artist. His attire is composed of a yellow/black karate gi, and longer hair. He takes on an very noble and firm personality, exactly like Kintaros.
[edit] Biography
After being beat up by a local street gang, Ryotaro found a Rider Pass on the ground and unaware of being followed by a Imagin. When he went to the police station to report the missing item, he unknowingly entered at the precise time of DenLiner's arrival, finding himself at a desert-like land while greeted by Naomi who serves him coffee while he forgot to turn in the pass upon leaving the area. On his way to the Milk Dipper, Ryotaro was attacked by Tetsuo's gang once more after being accused of stealing Tetsuo's key holder. As the gang began to attack Ryotaro, The red Imagin took over Ryotaro's body and almost killed them, but Ryotaro was able to regain control of his body. During his first encounter with Hana, she told Ryotaro about how he can become Den-O using the Rider Pass. Their conversation was interrupted by the Bat Imagin, who was possessing Tetsuo's body. After his first transformation, Ryotaro attempted to run until he was told by Hana to initiate Sword Form. Once in Sword Form, Momotaros took over Ryotaro's body and easily defeated the Bat Imagin. After completing his contract with Tetsuo, the Bat Imagin dived into Tetsuo's past, and Ryotaro soon followed. He then defeated the Bat Imagin / Gigandeath Heaven using Gouka.
Over time, Ryotaro and Momotaros even reached a level of understanding after Momotaros used Ryotaro's body to aid in a crime and Ryotaro, denying Momotaros all access to his body, fought without using Sword form, almost dying. Momotaros finally apologized, and the two developed true respect for each other. However, Ryotaro's personal troubles arose when he was possessed by another Imagin, Urataros. Because of this, Momotaros and Urataros fought each other for control of Ryotaro's body, which seemingly put great stress on him as his body gave out during the battle with the Crust Imajin. Afterwards, Ryotaro was forced by the Owner to make a choice if he wanted to share the Rider Pass with Urataros so he won't be banished into the flow of time. To everyone's surprise, Ryotaro agreed because he believed Urataros actually has a good heart. When Den-O Sword Form was pushed into the sea and defeated by the Crust Imagin, Urataros helped Ryotaro, initiating Rod Form. After Rod Form defeated the Crust Imagin, its Gigandeath Hades was destroyed by Isurugi, combined with Gōka.
Later, Ryotaro had an encounter with a strange Imagin that had possessed a human named Masaru Honjō. This Imagin displayed tremendous strength, and later, Den-O and this Imagin, named Kintaros, were able to confront each other. Den-O was on the verge of defeat until the Rhino Imagin appeared, bent on destroying all the karate users in order to complete his contract. Kintaros defended his host, Masaru, whom he seemed to care deeply about. Ultimately, the Rhino Imagin was able to escape, and Kintaros left Den-O alone, carrying off Masaru to tend to his injuries.

[edit] Equipment
[edit] Den-O Belt
Den-O Belt (デンオウベルト Den'ō Beruto?): Kamen Rider Den-O's henshin belt is affixed with a device known as the SetTouch, which can read a Rider Pass and the Imagin contained on it. When the Rider Pass is swiped across the SetTouch, a transformation along with multiple form changes can occur. The belt has four buttons, each activating a specific form. It is also used to activate the primary finisher, Full Charge.
[edit] Rider Pass
- Device: SetTouch (Den-O Belt)
- Imagin: Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros, Ryūtaros
- Change system: Plat Form is activated by swiping the Rider Pass over the SetTouch. Succeeding form changes are activated by pressing the corresponding button and swiping the Rider Pass over the SetTouch. Alternatively, transformations into the alternate forms can be achieved by pressing the corresponding button first, and then swiping the Rider Pass.
- Change announcement: SWORD FORM!!!, ROD FORM!!!, AX FORM!!!, GUN FORM!!!
- Primary finisher: FULL CHARGE - There are four finishers, one for each of Den-O's forms. It is activated by swiping the Rider Pass over the SetTouch.
- When in Sword Form, Full Charge is used in conjunction with Extreme Slash. The blade of the DenGasher detaches and flies at high speeds in mid-air. It follows the path where Den-O slashes, making the attack an effective long-range finisher.
- When in Rod Form, Full Charge is used in conjunction with Solid Attack, a technique where the DenGasher is thrown at the enemy like a spear. Once it hits and penetrates, a blue hexagon shaped barrier, similar to a turtle shell, is created, binding the foe. Den-O then performs Den Rider Kick, aiming at the center of the target.
- When in Ax Form, Full Charge is used in conjunction with Dynamic Chop for a more intensified attack.
- When in Gun Form, Full Charge is used in conjunction with Wild Shot for a more intensified attack.
[edit] DenGasher
DenGasher (デンガッシャー Dengasshā?): Modeled after a bullet train, DenGasher is Den-O's primary weapon. The DenGasher composed of four separate parts that, when not in use, are attached to Den-O's belt. These parts can be assembled into a sword, rod, ax, or gun depending on which form Den-O is currently using. The following listed are the most commonly used ways to form each weapon, but each form also displays various variations in which the weapons are attached in fancy and tricky manners that differ from the norm.
For Sword Form, the two parts on the left side of the belt are stacked on top of each other. Then by throwing the attached part in the air, the other two parts are held out, and electricity catches and links them together. Afterwards, a red blade extends from the top of the sword.
For Rod Form, the parts on the left side of the belt are attached by the sides. The parts on the right side are then attached to the other two separately, each at one of the ends of the set. Once complete, the DenGasher extends itself until it reaches the size of a regular staff. It can also be used like a fishing rod and a harpoon.
[edit] Machine DenBird
Machine DenBird (マシンデンバード Mashin Denbādo?): The Machine DenBird is Den-O's bike that is able to launch from the DenLiner. While docked in the DenLiner, it serves as the control mechanism for the DenLiner. When a Rider Pass, along with a Rider Ticket, is inserted into the DenBird while it is docked in the DenLiner, the date on the ticket becomes DenLiner's destination.
[edit] DenLiner
DenLiner (デンライナー Denrainā?) is Den-O's transportation system, and it is mainly used for traveling to other times and launching attacks against giant monsters. The DenLiner arrives when a person holding a Rider Pass touches a door while the hour, minute and second of time are the same. It is able to travel to different times when a Rider Pass, along with a Rider Ticket that contains the date in which an Imagin has traveled to, is inserted into the DenBird, while docked in the DenLiner. The date then becomes DenLiner's new destination in time.
DenLiner has multiple forms, split throughout eight cars. When not using a certain form, DenLiner's eight cars are linked up, forming one large train. These trains only change form when Den-O is in the corresponding form.
- Gōka (ゴウカ Gōka?): Based off of the legend of Momotarō, Gōka is activated when Den-O is in Sword Form. This train is composed of cars one through four, each with a unique attack that relates to a component of the legend. When attacking, the train turns sideways and each of the four compartments open up, each revealing a weapon. The first car represents Momotarō himself, and is able to fire lasers from the GōCannon. The second car represents the dog Momotarō befriends, and is able to fire rockets named Doggy Bark from the Doggy Launcher. The third car represents the monkey Momotarō met, and is able to launch bombs named Monkey Bomb from Monkey Bomber. The fourth car represents the bird, and is able to launch a miniature bird with blade-like wings named the Birdie Missile.
- Isurugi (イスルギ Isurugi?): A turtle-style train, Isurugi is activated when Den-O is in Rod Form. Composed of car five, the back of the car is able to open to release a turtle like machine named Radome, which Den-O uses as a hovercraft to travel on water. Isurugi can also combine with Gōka, but instead of staying in the back, it attaches to the front. In addition to Gōka's usual weaponry, Radome sits on top Isurugi, extending to blade-like lasers when attacking.
- Rekkō (レッコウ Rekkō?): Rekkō is activated when Den-O is in Ax Form. Composed of car six, five axes appear from each side of the train along with one large ax on the head.
- Ikazuchi (イカヅチ Ikazuchi?): A dragon-style train, Ikazuchi is activated when Den-O is in Gun Form. Composed cars seven and eight, the upper half is able to open up to reveal a dragon head while the rear half is able to reveal a dragon tail.
