Kambriel

Kambriel is an American designer of gothic fashion. She founded Atrocities in 1994, but changed the name of the company to Kambriel after the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.^{[citation needed]} Her designs are inspired by the fashion of the Victorian era, Pre-Raphaelitism, gothic romanticism and art nouveau.^{[citation needed]}

Kambriel has designed custom pieces of clothing for such figures as Monica Richards of Faith and the Muse, comedian Margaret Cho, Lisa Feuer of Black Tape for a Blue Girl, and also for numerous films and plays.^{[citation needed]}

Kambriel's recent portfolio includes her Pale Court tribute collection which includes pieces from the portfolio of fellow designer Laura Purdy who passed away in 2005 due to Hodgkins Lymphoma.^{[citation needed]} This collection was featured at the gothic convention Convergence 2006.^{[citation needed]}
