[edit] Alitalia

I didn't notice a whole lot of vandalism on the Alitalia page. There were a couple removals that you reverted, but I didn't see much else. Is there anything in particular you wanted me to look at? Dbinder (talk) 05:27, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Admins can protect articles, but that is generally only done in extreme circumstances, such as an article being repeatedly vandalized by a large group of users. However, you can track changes to an article by adding it to your Watchlist. Go to the article, and click the link at the bottom or left (depending on your display settings) that says "Watch this page". Then click the link for "My watchlist". The page will show the last edit for each page on the list. Dbinder (talk) 07:15, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Here is how to release content on Wikipedia:

Copyright owners who submitted their own work to Wikipedia: If you submitted work to Wikipedia which you had previously published (especially online), and your submission was marked as a potential infringement of copyright, stating that you are the copyright holder of the work on the article's talk page helps, but will not likely prevent deletion. It is sufficient to either:

  • Make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions at wikimedia dot org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation.
