[edit] In response

Ok, well I've just found this article about myself. No I didn't write it, I'm sure no one is that self-interested! A friend of mine wrote this. Yeah, ok, my life's not of any great "notability" (yet), but I don't appreciate the not so nice comments here. People need to lighten up. I don't mind if this is deleted, it was a bit of a laugh, I'm not really fussed. But I do find it amazing how people spend so much time on this site, picking at and commenting on other articles. If you know the codes and criteria of a site I think that's a bit sad, yeah it's a handy site, but living your life in front of a computer is never a good thing!Oh, I'm sorry but I have to say! Who's talking about a "vanity add," vanity? You named yourself "Immortal Goddess" for cryin out loud!! Does anyone else find that just a tad hypocritical? haha!

Vanity among other things: You're speaking about my internet handle for which you don't know the history of, an explanation is not needed. Also, please if you are to critisize my username please at least spell it correctly. Goddezz, not Goddess. The handle, be it hypocritical or not, as you notice does not have an encyclopedia entry. Yes a userpage, but not an encyclopedia entry. That is all I'm going to say in regards to that, as it is useless and not meaningful to go into further.
As for knowing the codes and rules to wikipedia they're easy to look up. As for spending time on it... it's very similar to myspace.com in a respect. People spend time there chatting with friends and fixing up their site. We are like that but instead of fixing up our personal site we fix up wikipedia to make it look better so that those who are looking for information have a resource to go to. It's not perfect (yet), but we're working on it. As for spending time here, admittedly a lot of people here spend most of their time on the computer anyway. A good share of wikipedia editors are geeks and computer nerds, as for me? I have the day off.
Now tackling other things: The comment on the AfD discussion are not meant to be 'not so nice' as you say, but truthful. We have nothing against you or your cause, some of us might think it is noble and some not but the fact of the matter is while as a whole the groups that you work for might have made a tremendous impact for which you have contributed to, you yourself have not at this time. If an encyclopedia article were to be written about every person who contributes to these causes the people would outweigh the cause. If the person is say a published author and contributes to these causes then they enhance the cause by being associated with it for example. Quite simply some people are not notable as of so far, and some are. Since this is a struggling encyclopedia anybody can edit a lot of articles that should be on here aren't, and some that shouldn't be on here are. Perhaps one day you will merit a wikipedia article, when you do I will, along with many others, gladly edit it for mistakes, errors, and vandalism. If you do decide to stick around and edit wikipedia I wish you luck, just follow the welcome message, if not then good luck with your causes. --ImmortalGoddezz 21:56, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
