[edit] removing comments from talk pages
It's not OK to remove comments from a Talk page, such as what you did recently at Talk:Kidnapped_(TV_series).
See Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines#Behavior_that_is_unacceptable.
There is a method, for a specific set of circumstances, where larger or older discussions can be archived: Wikipedia:How_to_archive_a_talk_page, but it's clear the above instance doesn't apply, regardless. x 17:46, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for your response about Talk:Kidnapped_(TV_series). I looked at the redundancy you mentioned and indeed found that the comment was entered twice. However, someone else had posted unique replies. So I consolidated all that. Granted, adding comments to a Talk page may not normally require an edit summary, but if you're removing something from a Talk page (something that normally shouldn't be done), an edit summary might be especially prudent. Thanks again. x 09:59, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] You're lost on the Chaldean issue.
Chaldeans are Assyrians. I am Chaldean and know that. I was born in Baghdad and live in Michigan now. Only Telkeffees doubt their Assyrianess and the ironic thing is their village is just outside of ancient Nineveh. Go figure. user:Sargonious

[edit] 3RR
Kalmani, you reported another user for 3RR at Chaldean, but you seem to have violated it yourself on the same page, so I've blocked both of you for 24 hours. Please use the time to review the 3RR policy. Many thanks, SlimVirgin (talk) 00:35, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Shlama
Kalmani, dont let them get to your nerves about the Chaldean issue, they know that we are right but they just dont want to admitt and they bring sources that my little daughter eight years old could have made up and put on the internet.
Sooner or later they must admitt to the truth.

[edit] Your note
Kalmani, thanks for your note. I'm afraid I can't adopt you as I just don't have the time; otherwise it would have been a pleasure. :-) As for your Chaldean problems, what you see is to find a reliable source that supports what you're saying, and preferably several. The more authoritative the source the better: academics and mainstream newspapers are the best. See WP:A for details of our policy on sourcing. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk) 19:40, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Now...
