Kalutara prison massacre happened on 12 December 1997, in the high security prison in Kalutara, Sri Lanka. Three minority Tamil political prisoners belonged to the terrorist LTTE organization, were massacred by their fellow prisoners[citation needed]. No one has been convicted for these crimes yet[citation needed].
