Kalman J. Cohen is an American economist. He earned his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in 1959 and is currently emeritus professor at Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

He is recognized as a world-wide authority on management science in banking. He is also considered as one of the pioneers and leaders in the field of research on market micro-structure.
