Kallstroemia grandiflora, or Arizona Poppy, is a summer annual herb of the United States desert southwest (California to Texas) and northern Mexico. With large showy flowers that often appear in abundance after summer monsoon rains, it has opposite, pinnately compound leaves, with bristly trichomes, stipules, and orange corolla.
