Kallapart (2007) is a forthcoming Comedy Tamil film directed by debutant Viji, a Tamil Television actress. The film is set to star Prithviraj and Asin Thottumkal in the lead roles with Prakash Raj in another role. Other members of the cast are yet to be finalized. Shooting had taken place in India and Australia. The film's score and soundtrack, are being composed by Vidyasagar, with many songs altered from the original. It is a remake of Mohanlal's Udayaanuthaaram, the Malayalam film.

- Trisha Krishnan was first offered the role but she rejected due to date problems as she was committed to Vishal's Sathyam, Vikram's Bheema and Ajith Kumar's Kireedam.
