Kalidas Shrestha born May 23, 1923 is a Nepalese artist. He attended Durbar High School, Kathmandu and J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai, where he received his bachelor degree. He is the founder and first campus chief of Lalit Kala Campus. He is honorable member of the Royal Nepal Academy. He is also founder chairman of Kamala Memorial Community Service Center.

Shrestha became a faculty member at Durbar High School in 1954 when he, along with Chandra Bahadur Shrestha and Jeevratna, was appointed to convert the Judha Arts School, where he had studied for six years, into a technical school. He got 'Mahendra Pragya Puraskar' from King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev.

He had done art exhibitions at Germany, United States, Sweden, Nepal, India and many other places.
