Kali Gwegwe

Kali Gwegwe (July 2, 1969 in Oguta, Imo State, Nigeria) is the chairman of Bayelsa United FC - a premier league club in Nigeria. He is reputed to have groomed the bulk of new generation footballers (1998-2006)that come out of Bayelsa State- the home state of Finidi George and Sampson Siasia.

A resident of Obogoro in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State Nigeria, he is a renowned Football Administrator. He came to limelight after leading largely unknown youths from Bayelsa State to win several youth soccer tournaments both in Nigeria and Europe.

Kali Gwegwe was the pioneer Secretary of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON), Bayelsa State chapter from 1998 to 2001. He served as its Chairman from 2001 to February 2006 when he was appointed Chairman of Bayelsa United.
