[edit] Re:Program to count pixels of a certain color

I've seen the same question asked three times in the reference desk with the same answer every time: No, there is no progrem (free or commercial) that will count the number of pixels in an image of a certain color. There is no need to ask this question again. --Kainaw (talk) 06:42, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Definately not the answer I want to hear :(

Makes me wonder where all those people who ask that go next... --hello, i'm a member | talk to me! 00:20, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

All those people? I was being polite. You asked the question each time. --Kainaw (talk) 01:30, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comment by you removed from ref desk

Hi there Kainaw. I removed a comment by you from the science ref desk because it appeared to me (and at least one other user) that the advice you were giving was dangerous. See Wikipedia_talk:Reference_desk#Dangerous_advice_removed. I'm happy to discuss the point either there or via talk pages, but please don't restore it. -- SCZenz 18:11, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

No problem. I know that because one person died of water poisoning recently, there is a fear that people will be dropping like flies from water poisoning every day now. Of course, everyone will forget about it in a couple weeks and then my comment about lactic acid won't seem so dangerous anymore. --Kainaw (talk) 06:30, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lincoln/Bush

Riiiigggghhhht. All roads lead to Bush. Oh, well; some zealous admin seems to have deleted most of the comments anyway, so the point is moot. Clarityfiend 18:15, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Patriot Act addition

See the talk page for the Patriot Act. The section you added has been added and removed many times. Currently, it is removed while being discussed on the talk page. The majority appear to feel that it should not be in the article because it has very little in common with the Patriot Act. A minority feels that the Patriot Act is Bush's ticket to follow Hitler and become a war-mongering dictator. Please feel free to voice your opinion on the talk page. --Kainaw (talk) 10:11, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

LOL. Well, it's obvious how you feel about it. Are you on Rove's payroll, or do you just hate America? --71.90.71.213 10:27, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Why do I have to "just hate America"? Why can't I hate everyone - especially people who tell me that I have to just hate America? --Kainaw (talk) 10:38, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Of course you are right. Someone on Rove's payroll would hate every form of democracy, not just America. --71.90.71.213 11:06, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Wow! Zephram's back!? I thought I smelled something funny running around Wikipedia lately. --Kainaw (talk) 02:38, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Answering your question

That depends on how much sympathy do you have for opportunism. Mr.K. (talk) 20:46, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Oh - I forgot. The military is the sole source of opportunity for some people. We don't have things like college scholarships, corporate scholarships, vocation training (paid for by lottery money), minority support programs... Nope. Just the military. Our country really sucks. --Kainaw (talk) 18:17, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sofa King

well I have seen both "we todd did" and "we taught it," so for you to assume that there is only one correct way to execute that joke is a mistake my friend. A tragic, tragic mistake.150.243.32.195 18:08, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

No. Only retarded people use "we todd did". The point of the joke is that "we taught it" is a valid English phrase. "We todd did" is not. At least try to understand a joke before assuming you know the proper way to execute it. --Kainaw (talk) 01:05, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] thanks

Hey Kainaw, you left a comment, answering my question, on the entertainment refernce desk, just thought i would drop by and say thanks as that is a pretty intelligent response, i would never have thought of the connection between 'now hear this' and 'hear ye' but now you have bought it to my attention it seems very logical, thanks again

Dave 88.111.82.185 18:39, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, with giving out 4-5 "answers" a day, I'm bound to get something right eventually. --Kainaw (talk) 00:00, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Problems with a WikiTable

Here's the issue, though. Both James French Patton need to be placed in Seat 3 for the year 1882. That is why I had originally expanded the year 1882 to rowspan=4. It was required in order to place both names within the same year at the same seat. I have reverted user:mphamilton/Sandbox if you have any further suggestions. Thank you again. Mphamilton 18:05, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

OK. I'll try again... --Kainaw (talk) 18:24, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
But, if we do that, then Snyder no longer appears in 1882. He must be in 1882 (along with Patton) and then extend until 1890. I'm stumped. Maybe it's just not possible.Mphamilton 18:34, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
In my web browser, he is showing up in 1882. --Kainaw (talk) 18:37, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
In my web browser, Patton fills both lines of 1882. Two rowspans are showing for the year, but only Patton is appearing. Maybe it's an IE problem. I should check it on Mozilla. Mphamilton 18:41, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Yep. It's an IE thing. --Kainaw (talk) 19:00, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Studios Architecture

If you agree with me on Studios Architecture please look into the {{prod-2}} tag. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 18:51, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree with the deletion. That's why I put the "test" on the page to give the author a bit of a fighting chance to keep the page. The prod-2 tag needs to have a link to the deletion discussion page. --Kainaw (talk) 18:55, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
There is no "deletion discussion" page with a {{prod}}. It's simply, "if one single person doesn't agree, they remove the tag." Then anybody can decide to AfD it if they wanted to, then there is a discussion. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 20:53, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
