Wing Commander Kailash Singh Parihar was born on Feb. 3rd, 1944 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He is elder son of Justice Kan Singh Parihar [1]. After completing his education from Jodhpur, he was commissioned in the Indian Air Force as a pilot officer in 1963.

Wing Commander Kailash Singh Parihar was awarded Shaurya Chakra in April 1978 by the president of India Shri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy for courage and valor.

After completing successfully over 20 years of service to the nation he voluntarily retired from IAF and joined Air India. Now he is a senior pilot (commander) and also working as additional general manager Air India operations.
