Kailahun District is a district in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. It is named after it's capital Kailahun. The district of Kailahun borders the Republic of Liberia to the east, Kono District to the north and Kenema District to the west. The total area of the district is 3,859 Km Sq.

the population of Kailahun District in 2004 were 358,259 people(2004 census). The Kissi and Mende are currently the largest ethnic groups in the district. The district enjoys religious plurality - Muslim and Christians.

Kailahun has a mixed economy, made up of small-scale mining as well as agricultural production of coffee, cacao and rice.

Kailahun District currently has eight Representatives in the Sierra Leonean Parliament, of which seven were elected for 5 year team. Below is a list of representatives and their affiliations.
