Kai Suikkanen (born February 28, 1959, in Parkano, Finland) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey left wing. He played in two games in the National Hockey League with the Buffalo Sabres, and spent most of his career in Finland's Sm-liiga with Kärpät and TPS Turku. Currently, he works the head coach of Hokki in Finland's Mestis league.

Suikkanen won a silver medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary as a member of the Finnish ice hockey team.
