Kahaloo is located at 24.8167° N 89.2667° E . It has 36537 units of house hold and total area 238.38 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^GRBangladeh, Kahaloo has a population of 183230. Males constitute are 50.31% of the population, and females 49.69%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 91959.
