Kade is a fictional comic book character created by Sean O'Reilly, appearing in a series of comic books published through Arcana Studios.
The first appearance of Kade was found in the first Arcana Studio comic book, Kade #1 released in 2004. Set during the Iron Age Kade's the first trade paperback titled Kade: Identity was released in 2005.
Kade is the gothic demon hunter. He is a Child of the Black Sun and the Key to the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Chain to the Abyss of Hell. Kade was one of the first Children and the demon Apollyon ordered for Kade to be killed upon his birth. Kade's mother fleed and was forced to abandon the infant in the coldest of winters. That night, the little infant passed away...
Though his body died, Kade's spirit did not. Reborn as a Child of the Black Sun he became something much more than human; he became an ageless warrior who has been bestowed gifts to hunt the demons of our world.
Kade: Sun of Perdition, occurred 1000 years after Identity and was set during the Dark Ages. Kade had to face, once again, the demon known as Apollyon who had merged with Kamric to form the Beast known as Abbaddon. Kade and Ezra managed to banish The Beast back to the Abyss but not before The Fallen were released. The Fallen are seven angels who defied God and who are determined to bring about the Apocalypse. Just prior to being banished, Abaddon managed to free the Fallen and killed Ezra in front of a horrified Kade.
Kade's next series occurs 50 years after Sun of Perdition and is set in India's Golden Age it is titled Kade: Shiva's Sun. It will be released in August 2007.

Kade will be a video game for mobile devices in 2007, developed by Indian game developer Paradox Studios.

Shocker Toys released the Kade Kini in 2005 which was distributed throughout four different countries. A new Kade toy will be produced by Gentle Giant in 2007 at SDCC.
