Produced by Seil Heavy Industries of South Korea, the K6 12.7mm Heavy Machine Gun is a heavy machine gun operated by the Republic of Korea Army. It is similar to the QCB variant of the American M2HB machine gun. The K6 is often mounted on tanks or other armored vehicles for fire support. It operates with standard 12.7mm NATO rounds and has a maximum firing speed of 600 rounds per minute. The K1A1 MBT and XK2 both feature a K6 machine gun on their turrets.
